What is your pricing for custom orders?
How far in advance should I place a custom cake order?
Ideally, we would appreciate all custom cake orders to be placed 1-2 weeks minimum in advance. We receive a high volume of orders everyday, and a lot of preparation and organisation is required to fulfil custom orders. This can include sourcing specific ingredients, decorations, designing and printing edible images, sourcing fresh or fake flowers etc.
We are able to make some exceptions 72 hours in advance depending on our volume of orders.
Wedding cake orders must be made minimum 4 weeks in advance. This ensures adequate time for preparation, and any changes that you may like to make such as number of guests, size etc.
If you are in a hurry, our Celebration Mudcakes are always available. Pop into our store or phone us to see what else we can do for you!
All our custom orders are priced fairly depending on the size, flavours, icing style, design, toppers, flowers etc.
Cake making is a more laborious job than you might think, and the length of time and effort put into your cake is also considered to ensure it is made just how you'd like it!
We are able to give you a price estimate over the phone, but do visit us in-store to discuss your cake in detail and be given the final pricing. We welcome any photos you may have of cakes that you'd like us to replicate or create similarly.
How many servings in the 8-inch and 10-inch cakes?
Our Regular 10-inch cakes serve 12 dessert slices, and our Midi 8-inch cakes serve 8 dessert slices.
